Kundali ("the App") is developed by Lexos Security, located in Borsad, Gujarat, India. Kundali provides daily horoscope readings, rashifal, weekly forecasts, zodiac compatibility, and related astrological content in English and Hindi.
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is stored, and what we do not collect.
Information We Collect
Kundali does not require an account and does not collect personal data on our servers.
The following information is stored locally on your device only:
- Your selected zodiac sign (rashi)
- Date of birth (optional, if you provide it during onboarding)
- Language preference (English or Hindi)
- Notification settings (time, enabled/disabled, moon alerts)
- Onboarding completion status and app usage streak
- Cached horoscope readings for offline access
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the share feature to send content to another app.
Information We Do Not Collect
- No name, email address, phone number, or login credentials
- No precise GPS or location tracking
- No analytics, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking SDKs
- No payment or financial information (the App is free)
- No photos, contacts, or microphone/camera access
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the App schedules local reminders on your device for daily horoscope alerts and optional full/new moon alerts. Notification permission is requested only when you choose to enable this feature. You can disable notifications at any time in App settings.
Share Feature
When you tap Share on a reading or compatibility result, the App opens your device's standard share sheet with text you choose to send. We do not receive or store shared content.
Local Storage
Kundali uses on-device storage (Hive and SharedPreferences) to save your preferences and cached readings. Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.
Children's Privacy
Kundali is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not collect personal information from any user.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social login services. Google Fonts may be loaded for typography; no personal data is sent to us through font loading.
Links to the Google Play Store (for sharing the App) are provided for convenience and are subject to Google's privacy policy.
Data Security
Because all data stays on your device, you control access through your phone's lock screen and app permissions. We recommend keeping your device software up to date.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
